One of the main innovations of the Chicco First Seat Recline is the Easy-Flat Recline system, which allows you to easily adjust the backrest position with just one hand, instantly transitioning from an ergonomic seated position to an almost completely reclined position. The car seat is compatible with the Full 360 i-Size base (sold separately), which allows it to be rotated 90 degrees toward the parents. The little one's comfort is ensured by an internal lining made of natural bamboo fiber, a particularly delicate, soft, and breathable material, ideal for contact with newborns' sensitive skin. Bamboo fiber helps regulate body temperature by quickly absorbing and dissipating moisture. The headrest and the insert, also covered in bamboo, are designed to accommodate the baby's growth and always ensure the correct posture.

From a safety perspective, the car seat is equipped with the Energy-Absorber Reducer system, developed in collaboration with the Chicco Research Center and a team of pediatricians. This special insert effectively protects the newborn in the first months of life, promoting a natural posture and preventing plagiocephaly, thanks to the absence of rigid forms in the headrest which leaves the head free to move. The headrest is adjustable simultaneously with the harnesses, with a single hand, to best follow the child's growth up to 87 cm.

The sun canopy is a real plus: equipped with UV50+ sun protection, it is water-repellent and easy to clean, and can be adjusted independently of the handle. An integrated zipper allows the canopy to be extended to offer greater privacy and protection, while a mesh window ensures excellent internal ventilation and creates an opportunity for play and interaction between parent and child. The Chicco First Seat Recline i-Size is not just a car seat. It is designed to accompany the newborn at every moment of the day. It can be used with compatible Chicco strollers, even without dedicated adapters, can transform into a comfortable fixed or rocking cradle for the home, and is TUV certified for use on airplanes.
